#Day29 #Inktober
#ThingsToLetGo

I will not say that ‘Forgiveness’ is easy. But at the same time it is not something you do for someone else; it’s something you do for yourself.
The deeper the injury is, the stronger it will make you. Because you will know that you have endured it all, yourself. And to forgive is not to condone, it is to refuse to continue feeling bad about that injury. It’s to let go all the unnecessary baggage that pulls you down. Injury makes you both empathetic and mentally strong.
“Dumbledore says people find it far easier to forgive others for being wrong than being right.”
– J.K. Rowling

I loved how you put it “…it is not something you do for someone else; it’s something you do for yourself”
Not easy Pragati, even if we forgive, we never forget and that memory keeps coming back.

I totally agree with you. Memory is a funny thing. We think we have forgotten, but it stays with us stronger than we could imagine.😁
